Overview:

The UCSF Helen Diller Comprehensive Cancer Center Genome Analysis Core specializes in genomic analysis of both RNA and DNA. We provide a range of services and equipment for mid-high throughput quantitative PCR (gene expression and genotyping) analysis using a variety of state-of-the-art platforms. 

For any questions, please feel free to contact the Core directly. We provide consulting on experimental design, grant writing, and connections to our UCSF Core partners to best fit your needs.  

MyCores:

To get access to the Core’s services, you must have an active MyCore’s account registered. To request an account, please fill out the form here. Upon acquiring an account, you may contact the Genome Core to permit access to instruments on MyCores. For other billing inquiries, please feel free to contact the Core.

Training:

We offer training in the following areas:

Comprehensive qPCR training (3 days)

AB7900-MZ-training (30 minutes) - required for access to reserving the instrument on MyCores 

Bioanalyzer MZ- training - required for access to resevering the instrument on MyCores

Next Generation Sequencing Training - 3 days theory, 3 days practice. Required for running our shared benchtop sequencer.
