QuantStudio 3D (dPCR)

The QuantStudio 3D is a desktop digital PCR instrument used for absolute quantification in copies/uL. The instrument consists of three parts: a chip loader, a PCR thermal cycler, and the chip reader. One sample is used per chip with the capacity to multiplex. Loading, clycing, and reading 10 chips may be done in 4 hours.

Currently the instrument is on the third floor of the Diller building. Once we have our first reservation, it will be moved to the second floor, HD-235 (1450 3rd Street, Mission Bay Campus).

Users are required to have training before using the instrument.

Please contact the Genome Core regarding the use of this instrument.
